Find Your Giant

This piece involved me creating a portrait of someone who I considered to have a large impact on society and me as an individual. I first took an image into Photoshop to isolate four different value layers. I then printed each of these layers out, and by using transfer paper stencils, I painted each layer. I then brought scans of each of these layers back into Photoshop, and by adjusting the values of the layers and manipulating the strokes on certain layers, I was able to create a graffiti-esque portrait of my “giant”.
